Can face verification support UK onboarding and right-to-work workflows?
Face verification can support identity matching in a wider onboarding workflow, but a face match alone is not a prescribed UK right-to-work check. FaceTagr is not a right-to-work digital verification service provider. Employers and software providers must follow the applicable Home Office process and independently establish the person's right to work.

What does each part of the workflow establish?
| Part | What it does | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Face matching | Compares a live capture with an enrolled reference | Immigration status or permission to work |
| Passive liveness | Assesses photo and replay presentation attempts | Document authenticity or legal eligibility |
| Attendance check-in | Records a configured identity result at a shift | A statutory excuse or completed prescribed check |
| Right-to-work process | Follows the applicable Home Office checking method | Replaced by a biometric engine alone |
How should organisations handle changing duties?
Consult the current Home Office employer guide and applicable regulations for your contractual arrangement. Do not assume every agency, contractor or gig arrangement is covered in the same way. This guide does not rely on a news article or an unverified commencement claim as the basis for a compliance decision.
Where can the SDK fit without overstating its role?
An authorised platform can evaluate identity matching and passive liveness within its own workflow, with lawful processing, manual exceptions and an independent prescribed check. There is no FaceTagr right-to-work certification or government approval claim.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is FaceTagr a UK right-to-work provider?
No. It supplies recognition technology and does not complete or certify prescribed right-to-work checks.
Can it work without a network?
Yes. FaceTagr's mobile SDK supports fully offline 1:1 verification, 1:N identification and passive liveness on Android and iOS. Reporting and integration need a connection when records are synchronised.
