Face recognition for UK organisations
FaceTagr supplies face recognition and passive liveness for mobile attendance, recruitment staffing, candidate verification and on-premise CCTV. Mobile matching can work offline, and server deployments can use a chosen UK region or your own premises. UK organisations must assess necessity, lawful processing and worker alternatives; hosting choice alone does not establish compliance.

What do UK buyers need to assess?
| Workflow | Decision before deployment |
|---|---|
| Agency attendance | Worker identity, client-site rules, approvals and billing handoff |
| Employee attendance | Necessity, lawful basis, biometric condition and alternatives |
| Temporary construction sites | Offline capture, shared devices, exceptions and sync |
| Candidate verification | Enrolment quality, entry queues and manual review |
| On-premise CCTV | Purpose, camera coverage, retention and authorised access |
What safeguards belong in the project?
Face templates are biometric data, even when capture photos are not retained. Define the lawful basis, notice and consent where required, retention, access controls and a workable non-face alternative before rollout. On-device processing does not by itself establish legal compliance.
Is FaceTagr a right-to-work provider?
No. FaceTagr is not a UK right-to-work digital verification service provider. Its engine may support identity matching inside a wider workflow; it does not complete or certify a prescribed right-to-work check.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does processing on the device remove privacy obligations?
Face templates are biometric data, even when capture photos are not retained. Define the lawful basis, notice and consent where required, retention, access controls and a workable non-face alternative before rollout. On-device processing does not by itself establish legal compliance.
Can it work without a network?
Yes. FaceTagr's mobile SDK supports fully offline 1:1 verification, 1:N identification and passive liveness on Android and iOS. Reporting and integration need a connection when records are synchronised.
Can we choose UK hosting?
A UK cloud region or customer-owned UK servers can be assessed for your deployment. Confirm the exact storage, processing, support access and sync locations.
Can recruitment agencies use the app?
Agencies can evaluate FaceTyck Attendance at client sites or ask their software provider to assess SDK integration. Biometric processing and worker alternatives need a deployment-specific review.
